Refining prototype construction

B1 task focused on the construction of the Paval refining prototype will be finished in the next few weeks, after 8 months of working.
As a consequence of the actual situation, in this moment, it is necessary to evaluate the impact caused by the Covid-19 in this task. Thanks to Befesa Aluminium efforts and its collaborators, the impact has been translated into a deceleration of the foreseen activities planning, without reaching a stoppage at any time. Everything without moving away from the priority of preserving our people´s heath.
B1 task is the BAUXAL II project´s core and its conclusion opens the doors for the next task: B2 Production of 500 tons of Refinal, which will allow the manufacturing of new refractory materials using an alternative raw material.
